1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the CheckLab Food service (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of the Service.
1-1. Age Restriction
This Service is intended for users aged 14 and older. Users under the age of 18 may not make paid purchases or buy credits without the consent of a legal guardian.
2. Service Description
CheckLab Food is an AI-powered food nutrition reference tool. It analyzes food through photo uploads or text input and provides general nutrition information and reference material. All information provided by this Service is general nutritional reference only and does not constitute professional dietary counseling or individualized nutrition advice. Users must use the information provided by the Service at their own judgment and risk.
3. User Accounts
Some features require account registration. Users must provide accurate information and are responsible for maintaining account security. Accounts may be suspended without prior notice if used for fraudulent purposes.
4. Credits & Payments
The Service operates on a credit-based system. Credits are a means to access analysis features within the Service and do not hold cash value, monetary equivalent, or represent any financial product, gambling, lottery, prize, or redeemable instrument. Purchased credits are non-refundable regardless of usage and cannot be transferred, resold, or exchanged. All payments are processed through a third-party payment service provider. Prices may change with prior notice.
4-1. Refunds & Cancellation
Due to the nature of digital content, refunds are not available for simple change of mind after credits have been issued. Exceptions apply where refunds are required by applicable law.
5. Acceptable Use
The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use only. Abuse of the Service, automated mass access, or actions that harm other users are prohibited. Violations may result in restricted access to the Service.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, logos, software, and technology of the Service are the intellectual property of CheckLab or are licensed assets. Reproduction, modification, or distribution without prior written consent is prohibited.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without any warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Liability for any damages arising from use of the Service is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Please refer to our Nutrition Information Disclaimer for details.
8. Changes to Terms
These terms may be modified with prior notice. Updated terms take effect from the time they are posted on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising in connection with this Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.
